EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and UK-US data bridge
For Personal Information transferred from the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland to the USA Allegis Group, Inc. and its U.S. controlled subsidiary companies (for a full list of the U.S. controlled subsidiary companies, click here) comply with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework program (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK-US data bridge, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework program (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Allegis Group, Inc. and its U.S. controlled subsidiary companies have certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) in reliance on the UK data bridge.
Allegis Group, Inc. and its U.S. controlled subsidiary companies have certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework program Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.
If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. Within the United States, Allegis Group is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) with regards to our compliance with the Data Privacy Framework.
If we have received Personal Information belonging to individuals in the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland in the United States and subsequently transfer that Personal Information to a third party acting as an agent, and such third-party agent processes that Personal Information in a manner inconsistent with the Data Privacy Framework, we will remain liable unless we can prove we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
